What to Do in San Francisco

San Francisco is one of my favorite cities on Earth. Luckily, my parents live just over an hour’s drive away – which means I spend a fair amount of time here whenever I’m home in California. These are some of my favorite things to do in San Francisco.

Marin Headlands

The Marin headlands is a must-see if you are driving into the city from the north. Take the last exit off the 101 before you hit the Golden Gate, and drive up the hill into the mountains to get an epic view of the bridge and city. I stop here almost every time I visit the city. What to Do in San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge

The Marina

The Marina is just on the side of the Golden Gate Bridge, and not only is it full of gorgeous sail boats and yachts, there is a very large, long grass area that is a fabulous spot for a picnic (if only I’d packed a lunch!). It’s a great spot to take a break on a sunny day, or take in the views of the uber expensive and fancy houses along the marina. What to Do In San Francisco The MarinaWhat to Do in San FranciscoWhat to Do In San Francisco

Veganburg

Stopping for a vegan burger is on the list of my top 3 favorite things ever. San Francisco is home to one of the best vegan burgers in the world. It’s located right on the famous intersection of Haight and Ashbury. Head into this hippy central to grab a very filling meal of vegan burgers, fries, and a shake or kombucha before window shopping down Haight Street. What to Eat in San FranciscoWhat to Eat in San FranciscoWhat to Eat in San FranciscoWhat to Eat in San Francisco

If you’re in need for new threads, make sure to check out the popular thrift store across the street. It’s called Crossroads. They are super picky about the clothes they accept. This means that everything there is in great quality and on trend. I recently bought a pair of AG jeans for $7 at Crossroads! What to Do in San Francisco

Ben & Jerry’s

If you’re vegan, you’ll understand the struggle of going to ice cream shops and only being able to have sorbet. Lucky for us, San Francisco knows what’s up. They offer vegan ice creams at the Ben and Jerry’s (which is located just a few doors down from Veganburg). My favorite was the salted caramel and almond cluster. What to Eat in San FranciscoWhat to Eat in San Francisco

The Full House House

I’ve lived an hours drive from San Francisco my whole life, and I’ve just recently visited the house that is at the beginning of every episode of Full House– which I used to watch almost daily. Seeing this house in real life brought back so many memories. What to Do In San Francisco
